Putting Students In Careers For 35 Years

Ben Grosse
1977 RID Graduate

I first met Ben as a 17 year old taking classes at The Recording Institute Of Detroit. Although an "A" student, Ben insisted on repeating each of the classes so that he could "get a 100% understanding." Shortly after finishing his classes he opened a recording studio in his basement. He was so successful that within a couple of years he opened a major 24 track studio in Canton Michigan, called Pearl Sound.

Ben began to get popular as a mixing engineer and producer and did many California sessions in the 1990's. He moved his recording operation to a 3 studio complex in Burbank, California in 1997, called The Mix Room. Today Ben has dozens of gold/platinum awards for his continued work in the industry. - Bob Dennis
