working with top artists on national hit recordings |
RID
announces Developing Artists
Productions, student session : RID
students learn to write tunes, do recording
& production; do mixing & mastering; learn the music business and learn today's marketing
techniques by recording tracks for an upcoming national release.
RID provides
the students with both the theory and the hands-on
practice to enter the music field professionally.
The next step would be to actually work on real releases
and try to make them successful releases. To this end,
RID is reactivating it's music label, now called
Developing Artist Productions. Graduates and
interns are banding together to get the real world
experience, applying what they learned in their classes.

RID Grad conducts "Nashville Session" in
Detroit
On April 25th platinum award winning
producer Nick Trevisick got back to his
home base in Nashville. He had
made the trek to Detroit to get "Detroit
Horns" on the tracks he produced for Mid
Michigan songstress Kianna Ryan. RID
graduate Maurice Herd was chosen to
arrange and conduct the session. |
New
Student Wins Recording Engineer Credit
Matt Zuby is a brand new recording
student at RID. He's only had 7 weeks
of training at RID and he would have to complete another 32 weeks of RID
training to be certified as a qualified
recording engineer. Yet, Matt wins an
opportunity to work on what is projected
to
be a hit record. |
