RUFUS HARRIS
July-December Featured Graduate

Shortly after his graduation from RID in 1976, Rufus worked as a recording engineer on national acts for major Recording Studios in the area like United Sound Systems, Masterpiece Sound, Sound Suite, and The Disc.
In 1979 Rufus opened his own studio, Bridgeworks Audio Services in Waterford Michigan, working with many prominent Christian acts.
Rufus is also pastor at his church, The Bridge Church in Pontiac, Michigan.
At the institute Rufus teaches CuBase specialist classes and advanced mixing/mastering in the Computer Music Technologies course and the Music Producer Program.
Fully trained and mentored by Bob Dennis in the Motown Heritage Mastering techniques, Rufus is now a mastering engineer for Superdisc Mastering. 
The Rufus Harris Band (Christian Rock) appears each month at 4th Fridays concerts at the Ford Performing Arts complex in Dearborn, MI as well as other area venues.
