DISTANCE STUDENT 8 WEEK SCHEDULE

The Recording Institute Of Detroit Associate Recording Engineer / Producer program gives students all of the basic knowledge and hands on skills for the graduate to function in a professional recording or production facility. The graduate is set up to have the professional experience of an associate engineer/producer qualify them for a position as full engineer/producer.

This comprehensive study can be completed at the RID Campus by attending 13 weeks. For Distance students who complete a pre-campus web study, the campus attendance requirement can be reduced to 8 weeks. In order to have enough exposure in this limited amount of time, distance students are required to do one 2.5 hour lab period per week in addition to attending classes 10 hours per week.
